Getting to Chalet Vert

From Le Fayet Train Station:
There is a regular SAT-bus that runs from the station to the centre of St Gervais. From here it is a 10 minute walk in the direction of Les Contamines (simply follow the signs).

Chalet Vert is to be found on the left-hand side of the road approximately 1km from the centre of St Gervais - look for the green shutters!. Alternatively - we can arrange to pick you up at the train station for 10€ (good value for groups!)

By Car From Geneva Airport:
Follow the signs to FRANCE. You then need to take the Autoroute Blanche (A40) - signposted CHAMONIX MONT-BLANC. After approximately 50 miles you will exit the A40, following signs for St Gervais-Les Bains (Le Fayet) and head up the windy mountain road to the centre of St Gervais.

From the centre of St Gervais follow the signs for LES CONTAMINES. Chalet Vert is to be found on the left-hand side of the road approximately 1km from the centre of St Gervais - look for the green shutters!.

Additional info to help you find us...

I recently emailed a friend with the following directions to the chalet and they include a few extra details that may make it easier to find us!

From the motorway head into St Gervais, through town to the roundabout. Straight on there (bearing left) towards les contamines. You'll pass post office on left and hotel regina on right. Carry on (past piscine and tennis and val joly restaurant on right, past garage on left).

Slow down when you see wood cutters yard on left. We're the second chalet on the left after that - the one set back between two other chalets. Look for the green shutters!

Parking is the next left and our spaces are the 3 closest to the road.
